Abstract: | EC anti-dumping law and practice will not come unchanged out of the Uruguay Round. First, in the wake of the conclusion of the Uruguay Round, the EC - mainly as a concession to French demands - unilaterally adopted some amendments to existing anti-dumping law, which consists of stricter deadlines for the conclusion of proceedings and changes to the decision-making process. The Uruguay Round GATT 1994 Anti-Dumping Code itself will also require some changes in EC anti-dumping law and practice. In this article an overview of the most important expected changes is provided. |
