| Abstract: | By the end of the Ninth Five-Year, Shanghai's export of mechanical and electrical products will make up 50 percent of the total volume of export. International service trade will be developed with improved openness and gradual liberalization. The annual growth rate of technology will reach 40 percent within five years. Export of foreign-funded enterprises will be motivated. Independent industrial exporting enterprises will adopt strategies of key development. Foreign trade companies will develop businesses. Import and export of independent businesses will surpass GDP in growth. Districts and counties will expand processing with supplied materials. Functional policies of the Pudong New District will facilitate faster growth of foreign trade. |
