| Abstract: | Historical background in nuclear power plant exports by USA is provided, key partners and their relationships are reported. Estimates of population growth and energy consumption are presented. A perspective of nuclear power program in developing countries is compared to industrialized nations. Centrally Planned Economies are expected to be major contributors to the world's nuclear power generation in the future. Developing countries' common characteristics are summarized. Nuclear power export by USA suppliers and competition from other industrialized nations are discussed, marketing needs in advanced developing countries and marketing variables in exporting nuclear power technology are analysed. Changes in design, financing etc. are proposed. |
