Abstract:China's residential house price includes three maket prices under four categories. Under the first category are Beijing Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen cities with marked prices 1500 to 2500, over 4000 and 8000 to 10000 yuan m2. Under the second category are Tianjin, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Dalian, Wuhan and Qingdao cities with market prices 1200 to 2000, 3000, to 5000 and 6000 to 8000 yuan m2. Under the third category are chengdu, Lanzhou and changsha cities with marked prices 800 to 1800, over 2500 and 5000 to 7000 yuan m2. Under the fourth category are other cities with market prices 800 to 1200, over 2000 and over 4000 yuan m2. China's most valuable brands in 1997 were Hong tashan valued at 35.3 billion yuan followed by Changhong, 18.2 billion yuan, Haier, 11.8 billion yuan Changchun based First Automotive Works 7.276 billion yuan and Kangjia, 5.564 billion yuan.
