Abstract:This report analyses the Italian market for oral hygiene products in terms of four principal categories: toothpastes, mouthwashes/breathfresheners, denture products and toothbrushes. Dental floss and disclosing agents, for which no data are available and which are in any case very small sectors, are not covered in this report. Sales of oral hygiene products were worth an estimated L844 billion in 1992, marking an increase of just under 7% over the previous year.
