Abstract:At PricewaterhouseCoopers the management have been involved in redesigning corporate centers and, in particular, in building effective corporate centre processes. More recently they have been considering how to measure the performance of the centre. The owe particular thanks to the Ashridge Strategic Management Centre for their help. There are two steps to good management. First managers need to analyze the centre into distinct components each of which needs to be measured in a different way. Second, measurement systems need to be developed.
