| Abstract: | The article reports a cross-national study of the bargaining model using data from 563 subsidaries of U.S. manufacturing firms in forty nine countries. It reviews the development of bargaining paradigm in the literature and discusses its application to the manufacturing sector. It summerizes empirical studies, operationalize the concept, presents the methdology. |
