| Abstract: | Countertrade can be utilized by firms to complement export entry strategies, especially when dealing with less developed markets. A framework that models the interaction between an American high-technology vendor multinational firm and a developing country (Kenya) leading to a countertrade agreement and technology transfer is presented. |
