| Abstract: | The outlook for pharmacies is better than for the household/DIY sector. The household sector may still be suffering the after effects of purchases and DIY activities brought froward in 1997 when windfall payments occurred. Both sectors will remain closely dependent on the general level of consumer spending and confidence which doesn't look good for the coming year. |
