| Abstract: | In the "Decade of the Environment", companies must excel in environmental performance. For a company to have successful environmental policy planning, it must have a sound environmental strategy in place. Employees must be empowered, because they are the source of a company's success. The company needs to be involved with all kinds of audiences and to communicate better with them. How well the environmental performance is received by the public, by regulators, and by environmentalists could have enormous consequences for Dow Chemical and other companies. |
