| Abstract: | The aim of this article is to better understand the relationship between parental leave and child health. As a result, this paper studies the aggregate effects of parental leave policies on child health outcomes. The data is from 18 OECD countries from 1969-2000. This article explores the effects of other social policies related to families and young children, such as public expenditures on family cash benefits, family allowances, and family services per child, on child health outcomes. |
