Abstract:Most of the 7500 people taking part in NATPE were either from the US independent stations looking for programming or from network affiliates with a need to fill empty slots. In his keynote speech, Michael Eisner, chairman of Walt Disney said stations should seek an audience by carrying quality material instead of going for the sensationalist low quality programming.
