| Abstract: | In Brussels Europe's 5 largest and most important broadcasters will form the Association of European Commercial Television /ACT/ which will provide an alternative pan-European body to EBU. EBU is said to be the obstacle to changes. According to EBU's supporters, it carries out an important role by protecting and developing public service broadcasting in Europe. |
