| Abstract: | China's import and export trade has played an important role in promoting economic development and satisfying the need of urban and rural residents for living. But there are some problems in import due to the irrational production layout and structure and drawbacks in import management system. To realise new breakthroughs in import trade, we should optimise commodity composition, relax control over the right of management of foreign trade to create favourable conditions for increasing imports, and continue to utilise more foreign investment to promote the sustained growth of China's trade. |
