| Abstract: | Wheat is the major variety in China's grain import, with an import volume for an average year holding around 90 percent of the total volume of China's grain import. The proportion of the import volume of wheat to domestic output of wheat ranges from 6 to 20 percent. The proportion of China's import volume of wheat to global trade volume is quite large. So is the proportion to the amount of supply on the domestic market. Therefore, changes in China import volume of wheat impose obvious influences on prices both on international and domestic market. China's import of wheat plays a role of "positive adjustment" rather than "negative adjustment" as people usually think. |
