| Abstract: | This ten-year follow-up review of 198 qualitative articles evaluates the development made in qualitative research in management by particularly considering: the strength and legitimacy of recent publications that challenge any positivistic stigmatizations of qualitative research, the methodological advances in qualitative methods, and the general contribution of qualitative research to the accumulation of management knowledge. By involving both U.S. and European journals in the review, the qualitative research published on both continents is compared and contrasted, emphasizing what each can learn from the other. |
