Abstract:Die hard patriots claim that shipping in a foreign boss is act of desperation. It is untrue. To recruit the best is good for any businesses, and there's no shortage of high- grade talent queuing up to come and work in the UK. The author of the article states that spurred on by big-name successes like Luc Vandevelde, Barbara Cassani and Sven Goran Erikson, more foreign execs than ever before are queuing for a place at the boardroom table of UK plc. The author states that it can't be the climate an answers the question what makes Britain such a hot place to work. The artciel provides an inset: "Top foreign bosses", where the first three place are taken by Philip Bowman, CEO, Allied Domecq from Australia, Rose Marie Bravo, CEO, Burberry from US and Barbara Cassani, CEO, GO! from US.
