Abstract:Planners present their findings to top management and than await a decision on the acceptance and resourcing of the plan. Normally issues related to implementation have yet to be considered in any real detail. If decision is favourable, the planners turn their attention to the real problems faced in implementing the plan. But very often this is too late. The results are frequently negative - disillusionment with strategic planning and with the company. Addressed is the questions of getting a fair hearing for plans.
