Abstract: | The Münich based Deutsche Aerospace is a high tech division of the Daimler Benz concern. The economic pressure, under which this affiliate carried out its business forced its leader to the introduction of a very painful structural reform: the integration of Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB), Telefunken Systemtechnik (TST) and Deutschen Airbus GmbH. Due to this restructuring, 200 to 300 senior managers will lose their jobs. As a consequence of this process at the independent branch of Daimler, there is a fear in the Stuttgart centre of the concern that a similar reform is in store for them. |
