Abstract:Each type of problems requires its own turnaround strategy and implementation plan. One frequent problem is lack of effective training or no formalized training at all. Supervisors and managers need training in understanding the system their subordinates work with as well as in basic supervisory skills such as motivation, leadership, work flow analysis, staffing analysis, communication, and coaching. Yet another problem is the way in which work comes into a division to be processed. To address this problem, outreach programs can be established. These programs involve meeting with clients and other divisions to explain the problems with how work is sent in and to correct problems. Two turnaround strategies are presented more detailed.
