Abstract:Company development projects, training programs, changes in company structure and employee participation groups are the most common types of change management used by firms in the field of human resources. The absence of serious research on the appropriateness of such actions toward the desired goal has led to deception. Four adequate examples form the basis of a demonstration that the lack of a true operative theory of human resources in companies is the principal cause of failure. Some practical deficiencies and strategic principles are proposed to overcome them and to assure the success of actions for internal changes to be taken by the management.
