Abstract: | In this paper, the authors demonstrate how sensitivity analysis and fuzzy logic can be used to minimize total costs in a multinational cash flow netting problem. Throughout the paper, they use a simple example of a crisp transportation-type problem to minimize total netting costs. The authors show how multinational managers can employ sensitivity analysis based upon cost coefficients and constrained equality levels for managerial decisions. The link between sensitivity analysis and fuzzy logic is clarified and the additional insights offered by membership functions are discussed. |
