| Abstract: | The aim of a close relationship between financial institutions and their investee companies is to produce added value in stock selection and asset allocation decisions. This article explores how 27 large financial institutions in the UK has sought to acquire an information and influence advantage from links and contacts they have had with investee companies in their portfolio. |
