Abstract:The sharp inflation is the most important factor for the decrease of farmers' income. The gradual widening of prices of industrial and agricultural products is the internal reason for the slow increase of farmers' income. Circulation on the agricultural products market is not smooth, and middlemen make big profits. There are external reasons affecting the increase of farmers' income. A big surplus of rural labour force unemployed is another important reason for the slow increase of income. The following measures should be adopted. Inflation is to be curbed. Circulation of agricultural products is to be invigorated. Input in agriculture is to be increased. Township enterprises are to be developed. The agricultural structure is to be readjusted.
