Abstract: | This article examines emotional intelligence and different measures for it. Measures differ in approaches, which can be divided into three different groups: self-report personality-based approach, an informant approach and an ability-based assesment procedure. In this paper four major emotional intelligence measures are reviewed and examined: Emotional Competence Inventory, Emotional Quotient Inventory, Multifactor Emotional Intelligence Scale and Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test. |
