| Abstract: | This article considers tourism activities and networks in three large counties in England-Wales border region. Undeveloped tourism resources are typical for this kind of rural area. Qualitative research methods were used to study the role of different actors (e.g. business and resource controllers) who operate in local level and to assess the potential of integrated rural tourism (hereafter as IRT). The results show difficulties to link tourism participants in order to achieve co-coordinated actions and strategies for cross-border development and IRT. |
