| Abstract: | The outstanding characteristics of China's economic operation in 1995 are as follows: indicators of macro economy trend towards the government's expected goals and the overall situation is comparatively stable, however, most of the indicators of micro economy turned abnormal, and its situation is more difficult. In 1996, macro economy is likely to maintain proper growth amid continuous shrinking. The rate of economic growth will be 9-10 percent, the rise marginn of retail prices of growth rate of the total volume of investment in fixed assets around 15%, growth rate of exports 15%, growth rate of imports about 17%, with a basic balance of import and export, the rate of growth of actual income of residents about 4-5%. |
