| Abstract: | According to the preliminary analyses, the more ideal situation of economic development in 1996 is as follows: The economic growth rate stands at 9% or so. The falling speed tends to be slower than 1995. The range of retail price in increases is less than 10%. The unemployment rate of urban residents is controlled under 3.5% in order to maintain basic social stability. The total retail volume of social consumption goods rises actually by 10% or so. The increasing range of the total investment in fixed assets is slightly higher than GDP growth rate. The import and export trade is going smoothly too by and large. |
