Abstract: | Practice often shows that traditional schemas of strategic analysis are inoperative when applied to SMF (small and medium-sized firms). This usually determines the range of available strategies. Therefore a typology of know-how for SMF as well as their strategic functions are developed which are used to derive a table of strategic formulae and key skills of these sorts of companies. Based on this, a general framework of strategic analysis adapted to the SMF is presented which permits their management to make relevant strategic choices. |
