| Abstract: | This report examines the Spanish beer market. It covers both sales through grocery outlets and those through horeca. This report examines the three types of beer: normal beer (4.7% alcohol), special beer (5.4% alcohol) and non-alcoholic beer. Non-alcoholic beer constitutes the most dynamic sector of the Spanish beer market. Beer consumption is increasing to the detriment of wine consumption. The leading companies in the Spanish beer market are Cruzcampo, Aguila, Damm, San Miguel and Mahou. |
