| Abstract: | The tourist hotel business is faced with the problems of surplus number, single scale, price-cutting competition and quality degrading. The solution would be to recognize the rule and seize the opportunity for our national economic growth; speed up the conversion and transfer of this business so as to follow the market and international principle; and to perfect the market economic system for the hotel business. First, the planning authorities such as Planning Commission should come up with a plan for the development of urban tourist business, upon which stricter management and control, pre-work control particularly should be imposed upon the business and project approval, etc. Secondly, the direct and comprehensive hotel as well as assets operation may be applied, which is also the trend to growth of modern hotels. |
