Abstract:The objective of this study is to examine how the market structures of various related service markets and hotels' locations affect international tourist hotels' (ITHs) profitability. Results show that market concentration in rooms could significantly contribute to hotels' profitability whereas concentration in the food and beverage markets affects positively but insignificantly. Additionally the locations of ITHs affect their profitability significantly.
