Abstract: | This article approaches the question of hotel development from a pro-environmental perspective. It concentrates on the operations and construction hotel buildings qualified with LEED standards (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). The costs, pros and cons of LEED certificated buildings are analyzed and compared with conventional constructed hotel buildings. With green principles, the hotels can come up with their quests' expectations. |
