| Abstract: | Thanks to the advent of microcomputer and data base technology, report utility analysis needs no longer be an expensive or time consuming effort. The report utility analysis process itself will probably uncover obsolete reports produced by each department. Those reports produced solely for internal purposes within the producing department can be unilaterally discontinued. Other reports must be evaluated by their users. Only a small percentage of the total reports needs to be eliminated for the report utility analysis effort to be a financial success. |
