| Abstract: | Many personal/human resource management database packages are designed exclusively for use on mainframe computers; however, some packages now exist for microcomputers for use in courses also. Three widely used microcomputer educational software packages are examined. Common features like training programs, performance appraisal, and recruiting, are compared and unique programs like stress management and monitoring accident rates are noted. Recommendations regarding program features are made and improvements are suggested whenever possible. |
