| Abstract: | The article examines the measures taken by companies in the West and in Japan to move products faster through their research and development phases. The factors determining the speed of delivery of new or improved products are also dealt with. MARIS, an analytical method is presented, which management can use to select the most effective way of increasing the speed with which R&D activities deliver new products and processes. |
