Abstract: | In contrast to the CAQ-oriented models of a quality assurance system, a personnel-centered view is presented (CAQ = Computer Aided Quality). The employment of product circles, in the sense of preventive quality management, is intended to evade potential quality problems already in the product-draft phase. It is shown that the application of expert system technology is especially suitable for both a computer aided problem definition and a heuristic problem solving. The application of knowledge acquired in the product circles is illustrated. |
