Abstract:This study discusses sex and death as taboos in advertisements. In the study French consumers' attitudes and individual characteristics which affects attitudes towards taboos are analysed. Results show that young people regard sex and death in advertising more acceptable than women and seniors and the general attitude towards advertising also have strong impact on attitudes.
