| Abstract: | The article deals with the fundamental tensions between the intrests of labour and capital. It is suggested that they constitute the principal impediments to the further unfolding of economic progress and freedom. Examples of contemporary situations where labour and capital are in conflict are mentioned and the resulting effects discussed. |
