| Abstract: | A brief look at the composition and focus of Japan's and Sweden's business intelligence (BI) efforts is provided. It is examined how the BI effort in each country has arrived at its current level. The role played by government and industry leaders in achieving this level of implementation is analyzed. In addition, it is shown how these countries have learned to apply intelligence in the business sector. Three basic lessons that USA business leaders and government officials should learn from these best-in-class country examples are given. |
