| Abstract: | There is a considerable literature on the creation of occupational teams, the way they function and the consequences of their make-up. Much of it is descriptive and based on case studies. However, there appears to be little evidence to support the theories. Equally importantly, there is a lack of valid measures of how people behave in teams. This study aimed to examine the psychometric properties of one such measure: the Belbin's Team Role Self-Perception Inventory (BTRSPI). Added is a reply from R. M. Belbin and a response by the authors. |
