| Abstract: | Recently new heights have been achieved in both the prominence of systems integrators and the expenditures on integration. The increased expenditures and attention have not been matched with increased understanding of integration. This article explores the basic elements and major components of information systems integration and develops a conceptual framework that can be used by managers to assess an organization's level of integration and effectively direct the work of systems integrators. |
