| Abstract: | Internal auditing has had two major growth cycles and is entering a third. Passing from one cycle to the next has meant a complete transformation of internal auditing from one process to another. These changes have had a profound effect on the profession and peoples' careers. Building a model of the transformation of internal auditing can help us understand the process of change. It also can prepare us for a new career in the third cycle of internal auditing. |
