| Abstract: | Keeping employees productive and happy during periods of company restructuring and downsizing is a difficult challenge for any industrial engineer. If work is made easier by eliminating, simplifying or combining steps, tasks or jobs, then people will be less stressed and less frustrated. They will tend to stay longer and that affects the bottom line. |
