| Abstract: | This article develops an approach enabling senior executives to evaluate a company's global mobility and so provides management with a tool to develop and hone this key, hitherto virtually ignored, element of competitive success. The authors provide an overall framework for the global mobility concept. Next they develop its main elements in detail. They than use the concept to consider various contemporary global businesses. They provide a checklist for managers to assess their current competitive position regarding global mobility. |
