| Abstract: | Energy industry is the pillar industry of China's national economy. The guiding principle of the development of China's energy resources is to lay equal stress on development and take measures to make the whole society place saving energy on the predominant position. In the construction of energy resources, coal is taken as the basis and electric power as the central task. At the same time, great efforts have to be made to develop petroleum and natural gas as well as new energy and renewable source of energy. Besides, effort are also made to adjust the structure of energy consumption in order to keep the coordinated development of energy and national economy and environment. Moreover, there is a wide variety of cooperation with foreign countries in the energy industry. |
