Abstract: | There is great concern about the impact of government policy on business activity and, about the effort by businesses to influence government policy. From a managerial perspective, government policies and business efforts to affect government policy decisions can have a profound impact on the success of business endeavours. This article combines concepts from institutional analysis in modern political economy and from organizational behaviour to better understand the business/government interface among industrialized democracies. |
