| Abstract: | Investment and production costs of apple production with respect to planting densities of 2,500 5,400 and 18,000 trees per ha are calculated.In october 1995 investment costs of apple-tree orchard were 3.2 mio SlT/ha (planting density of 2,500 trees per ha), 4.7 mio SIT (5,400 trees per ha) and 12.3 mio SIT/ha (l8,00 trees per ha). Production costs were covered at the following yields: 29 700 kg/ha (2,500 trees/ha), 42,600 kg/ha (5,400 trees/ha) or 102,000 kg/ha (l8,000 trees/ha) |
