| Abstract: | Giving employees tools to deal with change before, during and after it occurs in crucial. This article shows how one Fortune-500 company helped its employees cope with change and helped itself in the process. Corning's corporate HR department, along with several outside consultants, created a self-directed tool kit called "Exercises for Managing Change". The tool kit (information, activities, handouts, resources) provides HR and line managers with ways to help employees prepare for, move through and live with change. |
