| Abstract: | The present study analyzes international repeat and first time visitors to New Zealand in order to get insights into their respective visitation pattern of New Zealand destinations. The results indicate significant differences with regard to composition and travel behavior of first time and repeat visitors. Repeat visitors are visiting considerably less destinations and attractions despite their longer stay in New Zealand. Hence, their impact is more concentrated on fewer locations and attractions than the one of the first-time visitors. |
